We’ve been receiving queries about some of the fashion on Chuck for a while now, but the questions have really picked up during season 4. Robin Lewis, the Chuck costume designer, is excited to hear that fans are interested and has agreed to help us out with sourcing some of the pieces used on the show. Thanks, Robin!

Our first fashion stop is “Chuck vs. the Balcony”. We had several emails looking for Chuck’s gray jacket, whether for the questioner himself or a stylish significant other. This military-inspired jacket is by Earnest Sewn, Robin tells us. It doesn’t appear to be available in the current line, but you might be able to find it on eBay or at a consignment shop. Keep an eye out for the spring line, too, as this is a lighter-weight jacket that might reappear then.

We also had inquiries about the stunning royal blue dress Sarah wears in Castle while meeting with Beckman, and later interrogating Morgan. It’s a Catherine Malandrino design and is currently available in black/noir from Saks.

That’s our first dip into the Chuck fashion pool. We have some questions asked in the past (yes, we saved them!) that we’ll be working on with Robin, but if you have a burning fashion question, drop us a line or leave a comment and we’ll do our best to get it answered.

Salut, je cherche désespérément la montre de sarah dans la saison 4 celle qu'elle utilise en mission. On peut la voir par exemple sans l'épisode 9 (chuck vs the phase three) quand elle est avec Morgan et le plan de la demande en mariage et dans d'autres épisode par la suite.

Chuck Fashion: Sarah’s Watch, Sarah’s Jacket, Sarah’s Dress

Thanks to Chuck costume designer Robin Lewis-West and her generous gift of time answering our questions, I suspect that soon Chuck fans will be among the best dressed anywhere! This week we’ve got answers to some frequent Sarah Walker fashion questions, including an assist from the props department.

We’ve received several requests for information on the watch Sarah wears during missions. While Robin knew it was a Tommy Hilfiger brand, she called in the big guns to get the specifics: Scott from the props department not only gave us the details, he took close up photos of the front and back of the watch for us! It’s a men’s Tommy Hilfiger watch with a silicon band, analog dials, and date function. I’m not finding it for sale right now, but chances are you’ll find one on eBay if you keep checking. The model number is TH.01.1.37.0897.

Sarah's leather jacket from Chuck vs. the Honeymooners

Another frequent question is who made Sarah’s beautiful tan leather jacket with the asymmetrical zipper from “Chuck vs. the Honeymooners”. Robin checked her wardrobe archives and reports that it’s by Martin + Osa, from their Spring 2010 line. Unfortunately since it’s about a year old now, it’s no longer available at regular stores. Consignment stores and eBay are your best bets for tracking this down. Updated: In the comments, blueangel and Henk tracked down a similar version at Express. Good work!

Sarah's one-shouldered dress from "Chuck vs. the Seduction Impossible"

And now for something that is still available! Sarah’s spectacular one-shouldered dress from “Chuck vs. the Seduction Impossible” brought in several queries as well. Robin says it’s Laundry by Shelli Segal, and it is currently available at Saks. The beaded jersey dress Sarah wore was the Hawaiian Sky version, but the dress is also available in Amethyst Purple.

Did you notice that this week’s pieces were all worn by Sarah? She does have the best wardrobe, and we have a backlog of queries about her clothes, but surely you all are interested in pieces worn by other characters! Send in your questions and we’ll get the answers for you.

Another Monday, another round of Chuck fashion questions and answers! With thanks to Chuck costume designer Robin Lewis-West for providing information on these pieces, we’ve sourced some items worn on our favorite show.

Wow, Sarah’s black satin and lace masquerade ball gown was a HUGE hit! We had a ton of inquiries about it, so for Melanie, Jennifer, Sydney, dbriggs, Sara, J.M., Lisa, Marnie, and everyone else who wondered: it’s a Dina Bar-el design from her 2006 evening gown collection. That’s right, it’s from 2006.

But wait! In the course of trying to find a source for purchasing the gown, I sent a query through the designer’s website, thinking perhaps I’d missed it in her lookbook. After some emails back and forth with her assistant explaining the interest in the gown and sharing the photo at left of Yvonne Strahovski wearing it, I received an email from Dina herself saying that she has decided to begin making the dress again! As of last week, she was borrowing the gown from Robin and sourcing the beautiful black lace used on the back.

Zachary Levi wears a Paul Smith suit in "Chuck vs. the Anniversary"

This clothing story isn’t as exciting as Sarah’s black dress, but at least getting your hands on the piece is easier! Allie wondered who made the suit Chuck wore to his ill-fated job interviews in “Chuck vs. the Anniversary” and again on the plane in “Chuck vs. the First Fight”. Robin reports that it’s this beautiful two-piece mohair & wool suit from Paul Smith, lined in purple sateen. The double pockets on the right side of the jacket are a neat, modern touch.

Sarah Lancaster wears BCBG Max Azaria in "Chuck vs. the Cat Squad"

Angélique wondered where to find Ellie’s adorable cocktail dress from the engagement party at the end of “Chuck vs. the Cat Squad”. The strapless, tiered ruffle dress is by one of Robin’s “go to” designers, BCBGMaxAzaria, and is available from Saks Fifth Avenue.

Propmaster Scott Bauer, the man who tracked down Sarah’s mission watch for us, is joining the fun here in the fashion column and providing answers for things like sunglasses, watches, jewelry, etc. Watch for that information in the coming weeks, and in the meantime, if you have a burning Chuck fashion question, drop us a line and we’ll do our best to get it answered!

What does one wear to a coup? Kate’s been going nuts trying to figure out what Sarah wore to the party in Devon’s honor in Costa Gravas in “Chuck vs. the Coup d’Etat”. Robin to the rescue! Her cheerful printed gown was a Nicole Miller design (Robin added straps). That exact print is no longer available, but the current line has a few options to check out. Don’t forget to accessorize with a fruity drink!

Morgan is a Chuck fan who writes about clothes worn by jet-setting TV wonder women on her blog, The Girls In Heels. A few weeks ago she wrote in with a couple of questions (don’t worry, we’re tracking those items down!) and offered some information of her own in exchange: Back in episode 4.15, “Chuck vs. the Cat Squad”, Morgan Grimes had a lot to make up for with Alex. When she turned up at Chuck & Sarah’s engagement party in this Rebecca Taylor ruffled silk “Tutu” dress, he found the words to make it right. Currently only available in Charcoal.

Are you ready to see a 10-foot tall statue of your hubby?

Returning to Costa Gravas, Michelle wondered who made Ellie’s ball gown in “Chuck vs. the Coup d’Etat”. Robin picked that from Aidan Mattox’s line of evening wear, and it certainly held its own against the 10-foot tall statue of her husband! The long blue violet dress features an amazing gold waist detail so it doesn’t require my by way of accessorizing. (P.S. It’s also available in white and coral.)
